It’s been a little while since my last email and the past few months have brought plenty of variety behind the camera.

Alongside the projects featured below, I’ve been pleased to start working with a couple of new clients, complete several shoots for Velux including two trips to Dublin, deliver video and hybrid photography/video projects and cover events ranging from summer parties to an evening at the House of Lords. Here are some highlights from the past few months...

Purcell Day Out 2026

It was a pleasure to photograph Purcell’s annual Day Out for the third year running, this time in Regent’s Park, London after two years at Nevill Holt.

The event brought together colleagues from Purcell’s nine UK studios and international teams for an annual update, lunch, inspiring talks and an afternoon of activities. My aim was to capture not just the different elements, but the energy, camaraderie and sense of fun that ran through the event. Always a great day to photograph and lovely to be invited back again.

Sustainability shoot for Knauf

A recent three-day shoot at Knauf’s UK headquarters in Sittingbourne, Kent focused on creating a new image library for global and local communications, with an emphasis on the company’s sustainability initiatives.

The brief took us right across the site, from offices, training rooms and the wellbeing garden to the warehouse and factory floor, capturing the people, processes and working environments behind the business.

A day with HSSP Architects

A new relationship with local architects HSSP began with a day at their studio, capturing everything from individual headshots and director portraits to interiors, a full team photograph and people-at-work imagery.

Careful planning and great cooperation from the team meant we came away with a really varied collection of images. Since then, I’ve photographed my first architectural project for HSSP with more hopefully to come.

I recently volunteered with The Business Hub Work Experience CIC, giving local school students an insight into small businesses, self-employment and, in my case, a career in photography.

After fielding questions in a Question Time-style panel, I ran a workshop based on a real-life event brief, with students planning everything from shot lists and equipment to how they would tackle the shoot. It was fascinating to hear their ideas and different approaches, although we did agree that 15 photographers covering one event might be overdoing it slightly!
